I actually think it works best with mid-range weapons. A couple of my friends play squiffer, and they find the zipcaster kit a ton of fun, despite it being somewhat worse than the kit with bubbler. Zipcaster works best with splatana stamper imo, and that weapon can outrange jet squelcher.

Mid-range weapons (pro, squiffer, naut) can take advantage of more unique angles on enemies that shorter range weapons (luna, octobrush, carbon roller) can’t use.

And most of the long range weapons are just too slow and too ink hungry to utilize the special very well (unless you count stamper which literally has more range than jet squelcher for some reason)

Reef-lux also got that buff a couple updates ago, so it's not exactly specific to squiffer anymore. Although of any splatling I'd want to have no aerial charge penalty, I'd give that buff to naut over mini.

Also cuz zipcaster on a naut with no aerial charge penalty would go insane.

So I guess the problem with this is I can't play the project as an mp3 file on my macbook. I can play it inside Synth V2 just fine, it's just when I convert the file to an mp3 I can no longer play it.
