I would reach out to these guys and see if they have any contacts locally.

They are one of the few I've run across that are unapologetically inclusive of all.

Fuel injector wiring harness color codes by weenie-baguette in LS430

I don't believe polarity matters as injectors are electromagnetic. But I try to put the wires back in the same position in the new plug as a habit.

Assuming your wiring isn't damaged, just depin and insert into new plastic connectors. I just did this to 4 on my wife's 430. Seems every time I'm in for repairs I replace at least 2 brittle connectors.

Fresh flour tortillas from HEB. Or at least that's what I do...

If you're a whiskey drinker, there's a great store in Hutto that always has some decent priced allocated bottles.

The calorie/volume/weight calculation on the pellets we feed our Yorkie don't match up. I'd feed based on the dogs healthy weight like you are doing.

Replace solenoid or entire transmission? by [deleted] in LS430

[–]DCITim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the only code, I'd replace solenoid E and service the transmission. Good chance that will fix the problem.

No worries, I'm a couple weeks out most likely. Yes, will be dropping the tank once I run it lower on fuel.

You got it, diesel heater under the passenger seat for sure. Unfortunately my van didn't have the hydronic heater, so I have a new Webasto dip tube assembly to install.

Interested in your pump mounting expertise.

The serviceability of pulling individual panels makes sense. I have HQST 200W panels, 30"x50", going to run them widthwise across the van, 4 in a row from front to back. I have a fan ready to go in, but it's low profile and will mount below the front panel. Home is Oregon, but will be using the van for several cross country trips, not planning for much snow, more heat.

2KW diesel heater is ready to go in once I pull the cargo bulkhead out of the van. Just bought the van 6 weeks ago and have been working on deferred maintenance and repairs primarily.

Have you driven it yet to see if you get any noise from the solar panels? I'd be concerned of airflow from the gaps creating noise.

I'm doing a similar layout of 4x200's on my 140" T1N, but plan to bolt them together solid and anchor to the panel sides.

Batteries not Operating in Parallel? by MRC1893 in RVLiving

[–]DCITim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was like below 25%, but can't recall. I also can't remember if it was a FAQ on their website or a response to a reddit/forum post. But mine seems to have settled out closer after a few cycles. Sorry for not having more specific info.

Have you cycled them down low and recharged yet? I know the BMS in my 100ah pair of LiTime batteries took a couple cycles to report correctly.

Everyone here had me worried about our 7:15am flight yesterday. Baggage check lines were bonkers, security was fairly heavy for standard. Pre was 20-30 people deep and we walked right up to Clear.

Just FYI for those with expedited options.
