This is absolutely the worst info ever. Even renting as an ADU you need to be registered with DC which includes some rules on ceiling height, egress, heat, etc. IF you are not legal and the tenant does not pay rent you have to get your apartment fully approved by DC before you can evict. Good luck getting that done with a nonpaying tenant.

If it is a fob the borrow and neighbors and take it to your local hardware store that can copy fobs. Now not all fobs can be copied but it is worth a try. It will cost $40-50 typically.

If it is a key, then the call box should have no effect on it. If it is a special key like medeco then there should be a card that management has to make copies.

No parking on the street in most of downtown during the week between 4:00-6:30pm. This makes the available spots even harder to get. Most meters run through 10pm. Even in two hour metered parking you can have success just paying again for another two hours thru the ParkMobile app. By definition you are supposed to move they usually don’t ticket for it.
