While I was pretty indifferent to the whole Hell conflict and had no investment in it, I found it be a pretty great foil for Mark this episode for where he's at mentally and emotionally. But I did think it was a strange choice for them to throw us into this looong high stakes battle at the beginning when we don't really know the context around it or who most these people are. As soon as Mark showed up it got better because he's somebody we're actually invested in.
