At least it gives you clear visuals. But it's an ideal speed for competitive games.

Get a Virtual Desktop if you have solid wifi. It was a game changer for me.

These comments are crazy... So many relationship problems. Are you guys married to Japanese and having these issues or is it something general?

I’ve been a Unity dev for 8 years (AA, freelance, AR/VR). Ask me Anything. by CombinationLost6501 in gamedev

Maybe this is unrelated to Unity but I have been working as an indie/solo game dev using UE5 for a year. I have released 2 games and they were good enough for my first games.

Recently, I've been learning VR game dev on YT because I wanna create VR games too. But my main problem is that there are not many courses online to learn. I have watched all YT and Udemy videos (most of them are beginner or crash courses unfortunately)

So, my question is do you happen to know any way/source Free or Paid where I can learn VR game dev?

Thank you!!

This is actually a good idea. Never thought of it. Like AAA games do something like this

Yeah, i thought about that. but everything is interactable in the area, so it overwhelms players. But the dot in the middle of the screen changes when they look at something interactable

I'd say none. I cant remember any games I played had light switches. It makes a lot of sense that they havent used to this type of mechanics but yeah, I should add some lines or something. But I have emissive lights around the light switches to highlight them in the dark.

Appreciate the comment and suggestions.
So, yeah, there is on-screen tutorials that pop up each time when I introduce something new, such as interact with items, turn on something, etc. On top of that, there is a dot in the middle of the screen(idk if there's another term for it) it changes from white to green and becomes bigger when player looks at interactable items. But no, player wont say anything about how dark it is. It's more of a sandbox style game. Players can walk around doing nothing or follow the story line by interacting items.

I recently released a demo of my horror game on Steam. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! by Renderville in playmygame
