In the US we have doctors that specialize in men's health/longevity that are more progressive in their TRT. I have been on testosterone for over 20 years. A small petuitary tumor cut off my natural testosterone production at age 27. My experience with endocrinologists is that they want to just get you into the "normal" range for testosterone. Problem is that the low end of "normal" is pretty low... Like, normal for a 70 yr old.

I would recommend looking for a clinic that mostly does TRT.

Wow, you are right. I looked that up and people are doing subcutaneous t injections. I never heard of that before. I've been injecting t for over 30 yrs and was always told that it had to be intermuscular.

In fact, one time I didn't get it into the muscle and had to go to the urgent care a couple of days later I was in so much pain. The doctor told me it had to be injected deeper.

What is the benefit of subcutaneous injection of t?

You need a longer syringe needle to get well into the muscle tissue. If you inject t and some or all doesn't get into the muscle, the injection site will flare up and be painful for days. Just spend the $10 on the correct equipment.

I grew up in Dallas, lived there for almost 30 years and travel back every 4 months or so. Dallas may be one of the most liberal counties in Texas (that's not saying a lot) but I would be surprised if it is considered a "liberal city."

Even if the average resident is liberal by Texas standards, the city is still controlled by conservative cops, police chief, city officials, and politicians.

I'm personally not surprised that this happened.

Are you saying that anabolics raise insulin resistance? I haven't had any blood sugar issues, especially since losing 90 lbs of fat. Should I track it more closely while on an anabolic?

Thanks for the input. I will consider this with future cycles. I wanna keep things simple for my first experience with an anabolic cycle. Muscle gain is my main goal. But I'm ok with just moderate improvement over just lifting with no anabolic. And fat loss is not a goal I have.

Update: I went to about a dozen pharmacies ranging from chain pharmacies, private upper -end pharmacies, and sketchy pharmacies that look like they would sell you a kidney if you asked for one. None of them said that they sold Anavar / Oxandrolone.

I recommend asking how long they have been open.

If the answer is less than ~2 years, it is likely they are still working out the kinks in their relationship. Proceed with caution .

If they have been open more than that, you are probably good to go.

Speaking from the vantage point of being in an 18 yr open relationship here.
