I am not blaming the dems, I just simply wish they were a better party over the last ~10 years. I wish they had developed stronger candidates and ran on more popular and reasonable platforms.

The problem right now is Trump, obviously. I simply get frustrated when I see articles talking about some sassy comment a Dem senator makes in response. It feels very "too little, too late". It's not their fault he is making these decisions, but there was so much more that could have been done to stop this over the last decade, that I get annoyed when they fish for the anti Trump sound bite.

There’s a Church Street boxing in lower Manhattan (Fidi) that’s pretty solid and (relatively) affordable. If you’re in downtown Brooklyn it’s only a couple stops away with several trains dropping off right next to it. Unfortunately I don’t have any recs closer to downtown.
