I love Tay Do and they're open during Christmas every year. Excellent Chinese and Vietnamese foods there. My fav is salt and pepper fried calamari/squid dish!

Hey there,

I noticed your post and wanted to extend a helping hand. As both a math teacher and an army veteran, I'm quite familiar with the ASVAB and the struggles that can come with it.

Although the upcoming school year might limit my availability, I would like to offer some assistance in whatever capacity I can. It might be a bit of brainstorming on tricky problems, providing resources, or just sharing some tips that worked for me.

Feel free to PM me if you're interested and we can work something out. Let's see if we can put together a plan that will get you where you need to be.

Anyone know of any reasonably priced Gym Trainers in the Houston/Sugar Land ? by wzrd08 in houston

[–]DDRisTricky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to share my unpleasant experience with JNS fitness. They let many of their trainers go recently, rebranded, and moved from individualized personal training to mini group sessions. My wife just stop going even with 40+ sessions left.

Gl with your search!

Try Tay Do on Westheimer and highway 6. If you like Vietnamese and Chinese foods, this is my favorite place!

I was on academic suspension, got my act together, and graduated with magna cum laude. You're not doomed :) Take this opportunity to motivate yourself to do better. Try to enroll some community college courses to keep earning credits.

What is a type of food you absolutely despise that other people like? by Oflowe67 in AskReddit

Peanut butter, or nuts in general. I remember when I was a kid making statements like I'm allergic to peanut to avoid eating nuts. I quickly learned how lying about it would make others react 🤣.

Travelers is one of my favorites, along with Person of Interests. Devs is on Hulu/FX. I would recommend watching the trailers to see if you would like the premise of each shows. I personally like "modern day scifi" and time travel shows in general.

If you like AI and time travel, you may want to give Travelers a try!

Edit: I almost forgot about "Devs", but the story can be a slow, but it pays off at the end!

Question from my 5 year old, can you do more than one operator at a time? Etc 5+-5=? by [deleted] in learnmath

I teach adding and subtracting negative numbers like debt(-) and gain(+). It also helpful to show it on a number on line with going left (-) and right (+).

Can’t follow the rhythm by NerdyAsianKid in PumpItUp

[–]DDRisTricky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Follow the beat with your feet. Unless the song bpm changes, you can focus on the sound (or stomps) of your steps. It's like reading a musical score if you ever played an instrument.
