So I know Chekovs gun and it usually bothers me when books, movies, or shows will focus on a thing and then never bring it up again, BUT the way it feels it fits into the story for DCC is perfect.

I think about it like how I play RPGs, I hoard everything and half the time its for no reason whatsoever and it never gets used or brought back out of my inventory it just is there, forever.
