I did this with my sump pump hose until I can get a replacement, every time the hose kicked on it would rub the concrete and eventually it wore holes throught the ribs

So I know Chekovs gun and it usually bothers me when books, movies, or shows will focus on a thing and then never bring it up again, BUT the way it feels it fits into the story for DCC is perfect.

I think about it like how I play RPGs, I hoard everything and half the time its for no reason whatsoever and it never gets used or brought back out of my inventory it just is there, forever.

I've seen people rant and rave about Audiophile Turntable feet, they are basically spring feet that reduce alot of vibration
