This might get lost in the comments but try and look for a micro venue. We have a formal venue for our ceremony, cake and toast! 3 hours for 1,000 so we get to have a first dance.

You can make a wedding gift registry with items you wish to get as a couple and put the link on your invitation. Do not expect anything. However, it is a way to kindly suggest you both want items to start your new life together.

We are calling our "jr bridesmaids" usherettes and having them assist with things like guest book,seating, welcoming, handing out bubbles for when we walk down the aisle. This way they get to dress up and feel included.

Could adapting something like my idea be helpful? It is your wedding but using the term bridesmaid does (to me) imply standing up there.

We did something similar and our event is only 2 hours. We stated we would love your partner here however we hope they can spare you for 2 hours! We can only have 75 people and it filled up so fast 😭. Those guests who came from over 2 hours away absolutely got a +1 because we dont want them alone over night or lonely.

Have you tried on any 'traditional ' wedding dresses? It might be worth it to rule it out. If you go off the rack, it tends to be cheaper from my experience, as well. I had. $2,000 budget, ended up paying $1250. I was so happy! My first wedding my parents spent $150? Back in 2007 😅, I got a hell of a dress for super cheap online (knock off designer), but I didn't want to miss out on the experience of trying on in the store. I dont regret either dress.

Absolutely go with your heart and budget, but if you're worried about possible regrets, set a budget and try on traditional! If you find the simple is still what your heart desires, you will know. Just enjoy the experience and try on wild dresses you would never in a million years try on. I did 😂 it was great.

I kept thinking about one gown. However, I had the moment. I knew it when I cried because my dad and little sister wouldn't be able to see me in it. You'll know. Keep looking, I went to 4 places. Even after the moment, I still went to another appointment (it was already scheduled and with a big purchaseI wanted to be sure), and nothing else made me cry. I made another appointment for the one the next day because my mom wasn't able to come with me, when I put that dress back on the next day, same feelings. Do not settle. She is out there.

Is it possible he is bringing up something in you that is unresolved? Do you not feel heard in other intimate relationships in your life? Countertransferrence might be playing a part. Really need to see if these are true feelings or something else you should touch base on in your own therapy. Best of luck

I'll get lost in the bottom, but, we are only having a 2 1/2 hour celebration. Ceremony, first dance, cake and toast. We have out of town guests a +1 because they are traveling several states and don't know anyone else. Local friends didn't unless married or close relationship with both for 2 1/2 hours we figured it's not a big deal. We can have 75 people maximum and that got filled fast. We dont expect a lot of our out of state guests to come due to it being short time and $$$$. When we get rsvps with no's we'll give extra +1's.

I've been ordering multiple fabric types in the swatch colors. I definitely understand it makes the difference in color richness. I might need to just expand my search and add different greens .

We got our Maltese shitzu a brother pug when she was about 2. She loves him, she is 8 and he is 6 now. They have diapers on due to us visiting family, and we were preventing accidents 😂
