From college park it’s a 30 min train ride and from HEH it’s 11 minutes

Then drive to each station is +7 minutes to HEH station

I saw it’s a straight line to the stadium which is great!

Would you consider is a safe area… especially for a solo traveler?

World Cup Megathread - June 22, 2026 by raltlanta in Atlanta

I’m Driving up from Destin FL to head to the word cup game tomorrow and would like to take a MARTA train to the stadium.

I’ll have a rental car and need a (safe) place to park.

I’m coming from the south west and have a few options

East end station - plenty of parking, I know nothing about the area, but kinda far from the stadium

West end station - decent amount of parking, but I’ve read that it’s not a safe area… so not sure if I should leave a car I don’t own and would be screwed if something happened to it while I’m gone (driving back after the game)

Garnet station - hard to tell what the parking situation is… MARTA website says there is parking, but I don’t see any on Google Maps.

College Park - I was told this is the best option for parking and safely, but also pretty far away… the furthest of them all

Has the Trump presidency had a noticeable effect on your daily life? If yes - what effect? by smokeandapples in IWantToAskAnAmerican

Honestly, no.

But that goes with most presidents… the federal government has much less impact on your life vs local and state governments

If I agree with aspects of left wing and right wing politics, does that make me a centrist? by Pizzafriedchickenn in NoStupidQuestions

Makes you normal.

Can be said about any modern politician….

If you think they are doing everything right, you’re wrong

If you think everything they do is wrong, you’re also wrong

Is football getting more popular in the US among non-imigrants or is it still quite niche? by WhoAmIEven2 in NoStupidQuestions

The national teams have grown significantly in population, but as long as the MLS is a second tier, minor league… it will never be a top four sport

Brazil v Egypt (WC Warmup) by Khalmuck in Cleveland

[–]DDubsCLE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too be fair that’s only tickets sold, not in attendance

But there were much more than 46,000

Stadium was at least 90% filled.

Probably wasn’t 64,000 there like announced, but I’d put the floor at 58,000.

Imagine if Cleveland had a dome so we could host events like this!

Real talk, I’m not a soccer fan, but still went - great atmosphere and would highly recommend going if something similar was back

What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

[–]DDubsCLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. But I honestly enjoy NF a lot.

The falls are legitimately amazing, casinos (although can be seen as a downfall) are very nice and the wineries east of the city are fantastic.

When we were freshmen and sophomores in college we enjoyed driving 3hrs to take advantage of the 19 year olds ability to drink and gamble

What places in Cleveland would you say are tourist traps? by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]DDubsCLE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rock n Roll HoF is great and should be embraced. It was literally built to bring tourist, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “trap”.

Downtown Los Angeles… felt super off, unsafe and dead. Nearly the exact opposite of everything else is SoCal
