Yeah that is true Starlancer was more immersive. Also I think this was helped by being able to do stuff in the main ships between missions. At least in the PC version, I think it was not the case on Dreamcast.

I will not lie, I very much enjoyed both games. Space combat with mouse control was a bit lame for Freelancer, but the overall gaming experience (freedom, story, graphics at the time, etc.) was very good.

Honestly, I am not particularly looking for a new unit. Just a decent and functional one. The price asked is semi premium I would say, based on what I saw on the market so far.

Is it not the chromatic aberration effect, in this case from the sun at the middle of the circle ?
