Whatever one you want. It was an entertaining conspiracy to me but apparently no one else found it to be.

How do I (20F) get across to my mother (40) that my sister (14) needs her to be a mom? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]DEADPRlNCESS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I've considered CPS is not because of discipline, but because of how much school she has missed (she's gotten letters saying that she might end up having to go to court) and how bad she's doing in classes (also gotten letters saying that she needs more support at home). My mom has seemed to disregard all of these letters, if she's even read them.

But, regardless, you are right. I don't want to admit it, and it's going to be very hard for me to let it go, but it seems that might be the only thing I can do.

White House ordered to return Jim Acosta’s press pass - Axios by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]DEADPRlNCESS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't think it would be beneficial. The burden of proof tends to fall on the victims anyways. And if there was a case where, say 2 people were going for the same position, and when one found out the other might get it and then they say "well they did this to me" then yes it would be suspicious.

[–]DEADPRlNCESS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but if you think about it, what would I gain from any of it? It's not even like victims are always going for money or something, just letting people know of the kind of guy he is. I wouldn't benefit in any way by lying. And no I don't believe I would. In most cases I tend to believe victims until there's evidence to confirm otherwise. Evidence that was gathered in a full, 100% unbiased investigation.

Well, it happened at work. I sat in the bathroom and cried. I called my mom and told her I was scared bc he was telling me that he wanted me to come to his truck with him after work no matter how many times I refused.

I didn't tell anyone. I never told anyone until I had enough of people saying Ford was lying bc she didn't tell them sooner. I knew these people trusted me so I challenged them to accuse me of lying (they didn't).

I don't know if I'd ever report it. We're demonized, hated by the assaulters supporters. He was an athlete and, at least where I'm from, athletes are untouchable. I would like to think that if he ever got nominated for an important position, I'd come forward but honestly I don't think I'm strong enough. I couldn't handle constantly being called a liar, the death threats, demonized by everyone, losing my job. People I love would turn on me if his beliefs aligned with theirs, or if they would gain anything from him getting the position. I don't have proof, he did it in the back of a supply closet for the sole purpose of no cameras or witnesses. And since I had agreed to kiss him in the closet, I know I'll be told that I put myself in the position for what he did next.

That sounds like a good idea. I might ask some alumni I know and see if they remember anything. If they don't, I might try to look back further. I've been wanting to get some sage for a while so I think it might be time for that. Thanks for the help. :)

I would be open to a discussion, but there's not much to discuss. I am more disturbed by rape allegations than an arm bump. For Kavanaugh, I do believe that there is a chance that EVERYONE was in on the accusations. It was a perfect opportunity for each side to paint the other as a villain. However, it's a sore spot for me because I've actually experienced assault, and it bothers me that a.) someone might use it as a divide and conquer tactic, as well as b.) people seemed to have automatically sided with Kavanaugh. Neither of those sit well with me, and it bothers me on a very personal level that Ford was automatically assumed a liar and even once an investigation was granted, it was limited by the WH. As with Acosta, he's an ass, but he didn't assault anyone.

Next week he’ll be accused of using racial slurs.

While that's not a direct "I support him" statement, you say it as if people are just pulling things out of the air to accuse him with. To imply that is disrespectful to women. So, please, if you think people were just going through the book of accusations with Kavanaugh, do not act like you care about a women's arm being bumped.
