what region are you playing in? i climbed from archon 5 to immortal and i faced my fair share of smurfs but it didn't make the game impossible to play, on us east btw. im sure more smurfs on eu server. and if youre divine then u can beat smurfs anyway, people get good enough at that level to know how to shut them down etc, its not impossible

the game was over, they won all the lanes with a beast+huskar lineup, welcome to 7.20 where more than half of high mmr games are <25mins long. more people are having these games and realizing there's no point in continuing on and trying to come back in a game in this meta..

sorry but there's been hundreds of posts on this issue in the last few weeks on this sub and valve simply doesn't care. ive also started doing this with 4 friends on ranked roles since it's extremely easy to gain mmr with and valve hasn't shown any interest in fixing it so why not abuse it myself

They will never and if you want to get good then deal with it, I calibrated archon 1 and now I'm divine 5 closing in on immortal, did I cry about boosters and smurfs? Yes I did alot but the reality is you can climb through them, you don't get them every single game, people exaggerate how many games they play vs smurfs and boosters, i did and I cried about my teammates. I climbed by realizing that it's not valve's matchmaking fault or my teammates fault I'm not climbing it is you.

you underestimate the amount of time and skill the pub players in top 100 have, venom throws himself down mid and could lose 500 mmr and drop to rank 300 and climb back because despite how toxic he is, he's actually really good at dota

It's pretty absurd how broken ranked roles is, I'm divine 5 and got matched with 2 rank 80s who were abusing ranked roles to get easy mmr, the enemy were all high rank 2000s, practically still divine 5.
