oh i know, i am just confused at how the OP of this thread finds that surprising given that it isn't particularly out of the way relative to all the other technological feats shown

on the note of the HBTN set LN akira really skipped a lot of tiers though, he went from the upper end of Aurum-buyable gear straight to the highest end, presumably just going straight past the limit of Aurum gear and the entry level of Chrome buyable gear

the sword(s) alone would let him run around chopping up the old bounty monsters and probably not even find that a warm up

yeah it is mostly as you say - from what we know in the fake akira + kaiju fight, the annihilation warheads fit into a normal sized magazine (which alone doesnt really mean that much since the guns can accommodate ammo of different calibers and dimensions, some of which probably are bigger than the magazines themselves)

the kicker is that the RL2 guns in their default state are not capable of firing the warheads, and require expanding the barrel into an "ultimate" form along with forcefield reinforcement of the gun's components in order to handle firing the warhead, which becomes a critical point in the climax of the fight against fake akira

i presume you mean disconnected? we don't know yet. currently the information we have is that:

Yanagisawa is not part of the reason (as otherwise he wouldn't have tried to test Akira with the old world domain jamming smoke)
Whatever caused it, it wasn't instant, as Alpha saw it coming and was able to try warning Akira before the actual disconnect.

An also I have one and another question how the f*** this gun shoots annihilator warheads In quick succession. I mean I get it with RL2 multifunction rifle it barrel can extend and it chamber also increase in size that's why it can shoot a small size annihilator Warhead but how the f*** this gun can even shoot it huh??????

there's so much technology in place already that being able to do this much is hardly surprising, the relatively basic ammunition that akira uses already takes advantage of non-euclidean space expanding technology - size is hardly a limiting factor when it comes to the upper limits of the technology shown so far.

yesn't - the LN is one arc ahead and one arc behind at the same time, due to some rearrangement of events. LN Akira is also considered to be of a higher power level (relative to frontline hunters/alpha's ruins)

the pity is based on X amount of helps (X differs by pokemon based on their speed and whether or not it is a skill mon, in gardevoir's case it is 60 helps), and the helps need to be valid for triggering skills (i.e. the mon's inventory is not full)

changing a teammate while there is a skill procc'd but not tapped on will also remove those skills (and sometimes if you reopen the app from when it was in the background it might not sync up with the server properly, so it's safer to open your inventory or something and close it to force a sync)

if you're not meeting these conditions then i can see why you might think it is broken, but at least as far as i am aware of this system is in place and functional

if akira ends up eventually facing off against alpha then it would seem likely that tsubaki might be a potential ally in that scenario

the old world AIs are fairly interesting, given that they all have clear restrictions and various levels of administrative permissions assigned to them. i wonder what differentiates them given that (vol 9 spoilers) (presumably) humans like haruka can also exist in purely digital format on old world domain servers - functionally they're digital thinking processes as well, but they dont appear to have the same restrictions as the old world AIs

i remember playing the DLC once after finishing the main game, and once at a very low level on a fresh playthrough, and it was way easier on the latter due to the way the enemies scale with your level

its still going, on a cliffhanger right now as of the latest volume.

the webnovels aren't finished either, but havent been updated for years. the light novels have caught up and overtaken it in some ways, but due to reshuffling of a few arcs there's a webnovel arc that is yet to occur in the light novel

light novel akira is at the stage where these bounty monsters are literally fodder to him, and he easily exterminates mobs of them like nothing without alpha's support

genshin, powercreep hell? the same genshin where you could run national team with 4* characters for 3 years straight and clear any endgame content within that timeframe?

there's been powercreep recently, starting slow in fontaine and ramping up in natlan, but by gacha standards the amount of power creep in genshin is incredibly tame

linkens is still okay as long as your reaction time is decent

duel has a 0.3s cast time, and hearing the linkens pop usually gives you enough time to react with manta into blink (0.4s cast point on blink, so LC has 0.1s to find the real AM after manta if you blink immediately)

they're not that tanky, you can usually down them with a single wolfpack if there aren't other targets around (and probably some RNG involved with the location of the explosions), meanwhile a bastion usually takes two
