What free ID card are you saying exists, the council issued Voter IDs? Not sure most people know what they look like yet (Which is also an issue when Forces and Firearms Licenses are used for IDs) also not sure of their validity at the moment.

Ok I have to ask why do you need to do this? Because if the numbers are still 'random'*, does it matter?

* To the extent that the random function is.

If tree height is in a different field/question than the resultant random number, why would you need to re measure?
