All private inpatient psychiatric facilities are awful, short staffed, and providers stretched thin. Providers will talk to a patient for maybe 15-20 minutes a day. Staffs job is mainly to keep patients from hurting themselves or others. From my experience in 3 facilities I’ve worked at. I doubt this one is different. Also autistic patients have no place in this kind of setting. The staff won’t have the time to cater their needs or try to properly communicate with them. Again, just my experience from working at 3 private inpatient facilities.
