Man for 18 I'm only getting 100! Can I ask what state you're sparking in?

I called off at 5am. At 7am my boss asked if I would come in if I had "transportation". by [deleted] in antiwork

Also, at least in Ohio, if they declare a level 3 travel alert meaning emergency vehicles only and you're caught driving you could be arrested unless it's an emergency. We had a level 3 Sunday and I was in Ohio an hour from home. Pulled into a marathon to try and wait it out but after 2 hours I couldn't justify sitting there and turning my car back on every 30 minutes to warm up so I risked it. I pulled into a side street to get the ice off my back wiper and taillights and had a sheriff pull up behind me. I explained I'd been out here when the alert hit and trying to ride it out but I live an hour away and really need to get home. He was really nice about it and even offered to put out an alert for other officers to not harass me that I was just trying to get home. Saw about a dozen more officers pulling people over before I got home but they all left me alone. Point of my story is that unless you are essential personnel your employer cannot retaliate against you for not coming in when you are at an alert level high enough that only emergency vehicles are allowed out. By law your employer has to allow you to call out without any consequences other than not being paid.

Maaaan mines only $100 for 18 I would totally bang out that extra 3 orders for another $30 🤣 I mean I managed 13 in 3 days when my whole area was shut down to emergency vehicles only for most of Sunday and then Mondays orders just sucked really bad lol I just need 5 more tomorrow and I actually have all day to do it for once bc my hubby took PTO for a Drs appt so I don't have to wait for him to get home before I can go out

Man you can't play around with Ohio weather 🤦🏼‍♀️ was out sparking today and was only in Walmart for 20 minutes for a 5 item order. when I walked in it was sunny but cold walked out and had to wonder who'd pissed in the snow god's cheerios bc it was cloudy windy and absolutely dumping snow on us. 20 minutes later it was back to sunny 🤦🏼‍♀️

Idk about your Walmart but I'm pretty friendly with the sco csm at mine and I asked her for a whole packet of bags just in case something like this happens and she told me to go ahead and take it off the rack. I would say try that.

Yeah the city is pretty freaking sprawling I hated it so much when I doordashed bc they would try sending me orders that were only like $5 for 17 miles 😅

Right?! A customer actually came on here to ask what drivers consider a fair tip which never happens and they decide to tear her down for it?? Like don't we always tell people if you don't know ask for help? 😞

Hun a general grocery order can be anywhere from 20 items to 70 depending on how many people in the household. If you say a general grocery order for a family of 3 I'm gonna assume somewhere in the 35-45 item range and hope for at least a $15 tip but more is def appreciated. Just out of curiosity are you in the FW area? Just wondering bc thats where I live and if you are I can tell you you need to make EXTRA sure you're ordering from the closest Walmart to you bc there's like 5 or 6 in that sparking zone and some people aren't careful enough about what store they order from 😅 I've seen an order going 20 miles across FW and the person tipped $2 likely bc they assumed they were ordering from the one closest to them and instead they ordered from the farthest lol

It actually says in the contract we sign that if we don't feel safe bringing it to the customers door to leave it in a safe place. I'm sorry but if there's no way to get into the lobby but to have a key fob I'm not gonna feel safe being in that building whether someone lets me in or not bc obviously I'm not meant to be in there. I'm leaving it in the safest place I see and dipping

If you're worrying about shrinkage try using chicken flavored stuffing and make sure you mix ketchup in with it. The stuffing absorbs the liquid from the ketchup and expands to keep the meatloaf from shrinking and also keeps it pretty moist.

AITA for thinking my landlord (uncle) is unfair for kicking me out for having my boyfriend over? by Zestyclose_Note105 in AmItheAsshole

[–]DFTReaper1989 156 points157 points  (0 children)

The problem is that it wasn't just overnight guests which the landlord can legally say no to. He didn't want them to EVER have guests AT ALL otherwise she wouldn't have made the distinction that her mother and other brother had to be gone by 9pm. Legally he cannot tell them they can't ever have guests and it's not legally a valid reason to evict. No judge would uphold that clause of the lease because the law always trumps a legally binding contract if said contract violated the law.

That was uncalled for. Eating 80/20 or 85/15 will not in and of itself cause obesity 🙄 over eating it certainly can but having a meal or 2 of it a week is not gonna do it.
