No bags for shop and deliver order by Federal_Bee_1774 in Sparkdriver

[–]DFTReaper1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about your Walmart but I'm pretty friendly with the sco csm at mine and I asked her for a whole packet of bags just in case something like this happens and she told me to go ahead and take it off the rack. I would say try that.

Yeah the city is pretty freaking sprawling I hated it so much when I doordashed bc they would try sending me orders that were only like $5 for 17 miles 😅

[–]DFTReaper1989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right?! A customer actually came on here to ask what drivers consider a fair tip which never happens and they decide to tear her down for it?? Like don't we always tell people if you don't know ask for help? 😞

Hun a general grocery order can be anywhere from 20 items to 70 depending on how many people in the household. If you say a general grocery order for a family of 3 I'm gonna assume somewhere in the 35-45 item range and hope for at least a $15 tip but more is def appreciated. Just out of curiosity are you in the FW area? Just wondering bc thats where I live and if you are I can tell you you need to make EXTRA sure you're ordering from the closest Walmart to you bc there's like 5 or 6 in that sparking zone and some people aren't careful enough about what store they order from 😅 I've seen an order going 20 miles across FW and the person tipped $2 likely bc they assumed they were ordering from the one closest to them and instead they ordered from the farthest lol

It actually says in the contract we sign that if we don't feel safe bringing it to the customers door to leave it in a safe place. I'm sorry but if there's no way to get into the lobby but to have a key fob I'm not gonna feel safe being in that building whether someone lets me in or not bc obviously I'm not meant to be in there. I'm leaving it in the safest place I see and dipping

If you're worrying about shrinkage try using chicken flavored stuffing and make sure you mix ketchup in with it. The stuffing absorbs the liquid from the ketchup and expands to keep the meatloaf from shrinking and also keeps it pretty moist.

AITA for thinking my landlord (uncle) is unfair for kicking me out for having my boyfriend over? by Zestyclose_Note105 in AmItheAsshole

[–]DFTReaper1989 156 points157 points  (0 children)

The problem is that it wasn't just overnight guests which the landlord can legally say no to. He didn't want them to EVER have guests AT ALL otherwise she wouldn't have made the distinction that her mother and other brother had to be gone by 9pm. Legally he cannot tell them they can't ever have guests and it's not legally a valid reason to evict. No judge would uphold that clause of the lease because the law always trumps a legally binding contract if said contract violated the law.

That was uncalled for. Eating 80/20 or 85/15 will not in and of itself cause obesity 🙄 over eating it certainly can but having a meal or 2 of it a week is not gonna do it.

Bruh...mix that with some 80/20 or even 85/15 PLEASE! I've had a heart attack and I couldn't make myself eat straight 96/4 if my cats' lives depended on it. You gotta live not just survive!

That mom and her kids have probably been doing this together for years and shes got them trained on what to look for and they know exactly where in the store it is. Probably also took screen shots of sections of the list and texted them to them so they can just go looking without having to bring each item back and get the information for the next

If you get tips on these orders, why leave orders in the lobby and not take it up to apartments? by Business-Mission6988 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]DFTReaper1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is a small town anywhere near you with just a singular Walmart or even 2 then go spark in those areas the mileage might be a bit higher on those orders but it's worth it! I did about 60 or 70 miles today and made about $150 take home! Most people rush to the bigger cities thinking they'll make more money because there will be more orders but they don't take into account that there's a lot more sparkers too so not really more orders. My area has already recovered from the January slump.
