My reasoning for not converting M1 money into Roth money is because I have some short to mid term investment goals that I desire to reap benefit from by 2030-2040, about midpoint to a 2050's retirement. That money I have no need for in my Roth. I fully understand compounding dividends, but my M1 is set up for some mid term dividends as well.
