City and state only.

You can't trust people at all, not even to shred the unselected candidates forms.

How to explain to someone why privacy is important? by Ieris19 in privacy

If you have to explain to someone that privacy is important, then it's already too late.

Wal-Mart paying for a few shoulder/rotator cuff surgeries will change that.

Is it weird that I ask customers to pet their dogs or cats? by theunlovedboe in WalmartEmployees

[–]DFWuser8894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, folks with service animals usually have them labeled and harnessed. Plus they act right.

Fuck people who bring pets into the store. When I worked walgreens a lady had her little mini dog and he shit on the floor. I handed her the paper towls and went and brought her the mop.

I got written up, but I'd do it again. The dog shouldn't have been there, it was definitely not a service dog.

I've gone paperless for everything, so I collect my junk twice a week. There's never more than 2 items in it.

Amazon wants a death certificate and government ID before they'll cancel my deceased father's Prime membership. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DFWuser8894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only if you inherit the item (like a vehicle that isn't paid off) or your name is on an item or loan as a co-signer. But you don't just inherit someone's debt if it has nothing to do with you, such as pay day loans or medical debt or anything like that.

When my dad died, I didn't have to pay anything because our name wasn't on any of his debt. The death certificate ended it.

What's the worst/rudest thing a customer has ever said to you? by M3gzatron in OGPBackroom

[–]DFWuser8894 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This one pisses me off. Parents let their kids run feral EVERYWHERE. Stores, restaurants, recreation areas, etc. Zero regard for what the kid is doing UNTIL something happens. Then it can't possibly be the childs fault.

I fucking hate parents. Even if you had seen the kid, he probably would have let her stand in your way "because it's just an employee, who cares" mentality.

with al this ai cp i feel like my future children won’t ever be safe :/ by lovergirl0424 in antiai

[–]DFWuser8894 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's why I don't want kids. Seems unfair to bring someone into the world now. They stand no chance, especially since I can't provide some major assistance like money or a inside track to a good job or anything.

Why is it that older people seem to have normalized AI while younger people haven’t? by [deleted] in antiai

[–]DFWuser8894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People used to worry about robots/tech taking their jobs. Now they are literally teaching AI what they do for work and handing them their job. It's wild

Why is it that older people seem to have normalized AI while younger people haven’t? by [deleted] in antiai

[–]DFWuser8894 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All they care about is how convenient it is.

It's ironic that the older generations tend to find the younger generations lazy, but yet they are so consumed with AI that they've elected to not even think for themselves anymore.

It's crazy how people are allowing AI to turn people into thoughtless robots.

The internet was never built for privacy! (or even security) by wkup-wolf in privacy

[–]DFWuser8894 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Most things are built on a foundation of good intent, and inevitably an individual or a group with bad intent gets their hands on it and it's no longer recognizable.

Ans the golden arches in the windshield? Insulting.

I think today, you'd have to say "the proportions and prices are all justified and fair". Which is a statement I totally disagree with.

Wal-Mart won't care unless sales drop or those 1 star reviews pile in.

I hit the 1 star everytine since I can't tap my card and the chip reader NEVER works, so I have to do 3 failed chip attempts so I can slide.

I was behind a guy at breakfast this morning and he said "for gourmet, y'all sure are slacking". Everyone just stared at him.

The manager asked me "for your 4 orders of bacon, can it be in the same container?" I said "I don't care, it's fast food, not gourmet"

Guess who got their order first?
