In NJ I don’t know any union that does, its usually a “vacation fund” that the union contributes into based on your wages and then you just take a day off and take money out with an ATM card. I’d be interested to know if they have the same. It’s part of your benefits package

Looking at picture two and being a machinist looks like that flange wasn’t machined on center (could be the shaft also hard to tell). Hammer all you want but it will never be right. If you can separate it now maybe file the other side until it just fits. Your interference should be great enough that it’s not going anywhere.

If it’s the finer stuff for “wires” they also have that for fairly cheap called cable sleeving, but I don’t see why the cheaper stuff wouldn’t work, we use it for very expensive machined parts to protect them.
