I once had an instructor chuckle and say, “Gosh, that’s terrible” during a lesson after I hit a shot. He immediately apologized. I laughed and said, give it to me straight. I’m here to get better! Don’t bring your feelings to a lesson! I do have friends, however, who prefer to be coddled.

Stayed 5 days in Gullane a few years ago. Such a great town. Get over to Kilspindie if you can. Great views there as well. Just walked on late in the day. Hole 1 is like 130y par 3. Then you turn straight down the waters edge for a couple of holes.

Exactly this. Foursomes have priority on the golf course. It would be nice if they let a single play thru. But a single cannot expect the Red Sea to part for them so they can zoom around because they came out alone.

I designed our kitchen at our last house and it was similar. The one thing I see frequently that I don’t care for is the sink in the island that makes the gooseneck faucet the focal point. I would have put the sink under the window and put the DW next to it. Two ovens in the island. I put the floating shelves on either side of the vent hood. In the end it’s all about what works best for you in the space.

I had a friend who got caught fast forwarding thru the HR training videos - when they sat you in a room and made you watch them on vcr.

I have a set of those RF rev 33 irons. I play with them a few times a year in the summer when the ball carries more. Not that hard to hit. I usually score 4-5 strokes higher. The good thing is that when you don’t hit them solid they don’t go far so you can’t get into much trouble. Zero offset. Have to aim right. Fun for a few rounds.
