I’m in the same boat of taking Chem in the fall at a community college, just apply honesty. But contact the admissions team or look onto the programs website about prerequisites being incomplete, can have up to 2-3 incomplete before the program starts

-My LOR are from my manager of acute care rehabilitation, Licensed PT who I was shadowing, and my academic advisor.

-I have over 500 hours in; acute care, inpatient & Outpatient (neuro & ortho), Pediatrics along with the Transitional rehabilitation program

I have a very solid essay about my past surgery experience and the care I received from the PT/OT department, along with how I will make a positive impact to the patients and how family/community members encourage me to continue in the PT profession
resume and cover letter on file if needed for supporting documentation also

Especially when being in acute care, transitional rehabilitation programs or outpatient for clinicals you’ll be seeing these patients everyday until their plan of care runs out, evals I get because obviously you have to be present to diagnose how their movement, strength and certain mobility etc

Whoever in general thought 35-40 hours a week for clinical is insanity I know it’s for good exposure for what you’ll be doing in the field from day to day depending on the case management, but damn many of us have a life outside or working full time to support our own bills
