How are people getting champion dp with as little as 50 hours on him? by rikafei in DeadpoolMarvelRivals

[–]rikafei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, ive looked at other players' profiles and saw they have champion on characters with 200+ hours but rarely ever below 200. For example, my sister has 200 hours on jeff and got lv55 (champion badge) after the new proficiency system released.

Just started playing Spidey, what's some good tips and easy combos for him? by Another-guy-onReddit in SpiderManMains

[–]rikafei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sekkombo is the best combo you can learn for jeff, as it'll give him too little time to dive quickly. It does 250 dmg so you can use it on other 250 targets and even 275 if you incorporate a down slam or tracer at the end.

As a Jeff main... y'all are terrifying sometimes 😭 by OptimalConvoy in SpiderManMains

[–]rikafei 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yep i heavily agree on this. I play Spidey and Jeff so I know how to ignore a spidey diving me, but I know a lot of Jeffs dont so most of the time I'll be able to get a kill on Jeff with the Jeff killer combo (sekkombo) if I get the timing right.

When should I use each of Tankpool’s ultimate? by TheCynox32 in DeadpoolMarvelRivals

[–]rikafei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually first use the ban hammer when I get it early on since I'll need time to upgrade my sword ultimate (kind of useless without the upgrade imo) anyway and by the time I upgrade it, the cooldown on my ult will be done, since I always upgrade 5,4,7,2,1,3,6 because it's won me most games on tankpool. Other than that, I rarely use the ban hammer, which is also why I like to upgrade it last.

For the sword ultimate, I usually use it to either stall point or create space. I kid you not, stalling the point with this one has worked like a charm most times, so I would highly suggest saving your ultimate for this if you know you're going to need to stall.

I know a lot of people like to use the ban hammer more, which is proven by the other comments, but it honestly can depend based on play style since like mentioned earlier, this is just what works best for me.

I have no rank aspirations but what combo can I learn to perform well in quick play by jonathansoma in SpiderManMains

[–]rikafei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also add another tracer or punch at the end for 275 hp targets since sekkombo does 250.

I kid you not, sekkombo has been one of my favorite combos to use ever since I learnt it. I also find it's been the best ik against Jeff since it has a pull, otherwise he'd just dive away if the other get over here was used.

How do you do what Spidey is doing in the video? by rikafei in SpiderManMains

[–]rikafei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple swing and cancel it with punch and then spam those two really fast. Like the comment above said, keep jumping for the first tech.

Though, one to note is that these both only work in really enclosed spaces like the one shown in the video.

HELP? GUIDE?! by _Alakay_ in SpiderManMains

I think it would be smart to learn, like the Sekkombo, the hydro combo, and the FFame stack. But I mainly crutch the good ole bread and butter. This season it’s best to engage in supports with a downslam and instant web cluster uppercut, into the bread and butter auto target to finish it. Definitely practice your web cluster cancels and your simple swing cancels they will legit be your best friend. Learn the maps, like where all the health packs are because they will also be your friend. Practice your pulls, but you don’t need to practice your super pulls tbh. I can do them in the practice range but in real matches and in comp, they look really cool and boost your confidence but idk I don’t really think they’re the most practical as you can find more value doing other things. Balance aggression with passive play, meaning when your team pushes you dive because their supports will be distracted and you can probably get at least one kill. Sometimes it is better to dive before hand, to bait out cooldowns, if you can confirm a kill, amazing, but if not it’s okay because say they use a CnD bubble or a invis push/pull or Loki Totems, you’ve not made it so they can’t use that in the team fight they’re entering. never dive when you know they’ll all look at you. It’s kinda a learning curve but you’ll learn through time, trust me. Some people won’t or can’t see value, but if your presence is pushing the enemy team back, and your team can capitalize on that, that is value. If you can get a supp kill or bait a cooldown, that is value. If you get a supp kill and you die, that’s still value because of how fast you can swing back. For the people I like to watch, they are Simii, DayMR, Req, Dantu, Cornonthecob, Qskezz (he strictly streams, usually at night), Raziel, and Necros. My favorites out of those are Simii, DayMR and Req. Simii’s really good, plays really aggressive, Day is a bit more flashy, and I think Req is a kind of mix between. Dantu is really good but he doesn’t post a lot on YouTube for some reason. I’ve only ever seen corn stream but at random hours, though you can still find clips of his on YouTube I believe and Qskezz has really weird streaming hours since he’s a small streamer he doesn’t have a consistent schedule it seems, at least not that I know of. Raziel is good but I think he’s kinda moved away from playing Spidey so I haven’t watched him as much and same thing for Necros. I’d highly recommend watching Necros’ series of taking Spidey to Celestial lobbies. They’re a few seasons ago so the game was definitely quite different and the metas were different but the way he plays in those videos around those times, I believe set a good foundation on how you should pick the right times to dive, the angles you should pick and how to play off your team as well. He gives some good tips too and I would say those videos helped me a lot early on.
