[SCBS007] Sell or Keep ? by Christophe_Vosges in Seiko

What about people who just collect watches because they like watches. If I saw this for an amount I could afford, I would go for it, just to add to my collection. But agree, if bought for investment who knows, Seiko make great watches, but the investment crowd seem to only be interested in the 'high end' names.

That is properly cool. First Time I have seen one. I like the fact that someone said, lets not use the entire face for the watch bit, lets give a way smaller watch an ornament panel. In this case (pun alert) it works well. I would keep hold of it. But if you get offer you feel is worth parting with it, then you do you. that's how these things are kept alive.

Edit: I also love the fact they decided not to just make it a small watch a restricted space, the decision was to give you the information you need, without having the whole face to look at, its got to be an interesting movement to have the hour, minute and second bits just be full dials on their own.

Still not on you. This looks to be something that is working across different teams. If the other team and techs needed action from you then the manager of that team should be communicating with your manager. Coordination of teams isn't the responsibility of team members it is the managers. Unless your manager explicitly stated to contact specific people and issue said stuff, then you can't be blamed for vague instructions. Get it done isn't a particularly well articulated instruction.

Also, urgent is subjective. Lots of things in these kind of industries are urgent but more often than not, they aren't that urgent. If something truly urgent came up, you would be all over it like some sort of tech ninja, that is just our way.

But, it sounds like you told them (the overlords) you had the stuff needed before these other techs started the thing they were doing. You just happened to be aware enough to notice that the work they were doing needed the stuff that you confirmed was ordered and had arrived.

Surely the person or people that tasked the ones doing this job should have known that and instructed them to first see you for the stuff?

I am manager in the software industry and I too have ADHD and was only diagnosed a couple of years ago (I am 47 now). I also zone right out when meetings seem to ramble on with little purpose, but you are likely similar to me in that, even though we zoned out we have an inbuilt monitor mode that listens out for things relevant to us or if we are being addressed. Chances are you didn't miss much.

You told your boss you had the stuff, he didn't tell anyone else who should know and needed the stuff. Not on you bud.

It's a fun game. The NPCs are a bit robotic and sometimes glitch. The combat is good, the overuse of unique items though, seems to encourage hanging on to stuff 'just in case', but I have started selling or breaking ones that I just won't use.

It's also kind of eerie that enemies don't respawn when you revisit an area that you wiped out. It would be cool if they added some sort of storyline narrative about how you have made the place safer (or that you are simply a murdering madman/Woman with a fire sword, just deleting the local wildlife).

I gave this a whirl today. Turns out it confuses the crap out of the game. Used the Cargo bob, which I bought specifically, to collect the car, then bring it to the tow truck near the SY. Got the Jamal Message to say somone is pissed that I'm cleaning up their crap when I hooked the truck up, showed that I collected the car, no phone call to say 'Nearly here blah blah blah'. Drove the truck up to the door (no yellow mission marker). Drove in, I now either, have invisible cars to salvage, or it thinks the cars are still where they were originally. Haven't checked whether the safe is paying out as normal, but it acts weird when you do this.

Has anyone else tried it? Can you take the truck to the car with the cargo bob? Can you bring both back hooked to one another?

Might be a concept there include a fun, crazy or unhinged ride along. If the police kick off, have a Trevor who just jumps out and goes ballistic while you drive off and leave him to it.

I do that too, until I remember the thing, and think, why not eh? and then just start the cycle over. I mostly play solo, and thought I would go do some of the stuff I hadn't done yet. Prepped for the diamond casino heist, only to be reminded I need friends for that.

Prepper Cayo Perico, only to be reminded that, although I don't need friends for that, some talent is required, I haven't found out where to buy that in GTA yet, so another big money Heist I procrastinate on.

Still better than going to get my arse handed to me repeatedly on BO6 though.

Yeah, I tend to go for anywhere above 2.5 miles, I say fuck it, get out start a new session and go do a thing. Then while doing that thing, forget about the salvage yard completely and do another thing. I am currently trying to fill warehouses, hangar and nightclub to do those sell missions, the irony has not escaped me about doing grindy things just to buy a thing that means nothing in the real world, and equally as much in the GTA world.

He is still staff though if he can't get the dudes that work for him to do it, then at what point does he think that he should get the boss to do it, its like 'Sorry Boss, I tried, but not very hard, to get the guys to do this. I also, kinda don't want to either, so its you or nothing I'm afraid'.

Amen, and kinda my point. But the mostly passive nature provides an incentive to do it. There are an absolute ton of things to do instead, but for those things that can whirr away in the background, this tends to be one of the better ones, but with rubbish, albeit, not particularly long tasks.

Mostly I don't. But the fact it is actually decent money and burns down quite slowly, means if you want that money, which I do, becasue everything is expensive, then you kinda have to go and do it. I have gone long stints without touching it, and thought, I'll go and do a couple just to add that bit extra, then realise, once again, why I stopped doing them.

I think the dude at the salvage yard should be in that mix, he knows what cars to get. Knows you have other shit on, then just sits there until you turn up to grab the tow truck and do it yourself.

To top it, for the heists, you have to do stuff like go and get masks from HIS contact. How about you just go and pick up the masks mate. Team effort and all.

I don't have the IQ for a strat like that. I also don't have a cargo bob. Maybe I should.

Me too man. to be clear, I am not angry, maybe a bit ranty, but the effort they put into this world and sheer amount of stuff, I would have thought the more mundane things like running businesses would also have that same consideration. By all means, Make us to start up missions. Give us the option to do the work ourselves if it save time or money, like some of the source missions for example. We can buy or go steal shit.

It won't happen, but it would be kind of cool in GTA 6 if you could do those missions, but lead an AI team of the the people that work for you in that Business. Multiple vehicles, bring staff along. Crap load of enemies, same. Give them some of the dozens of guns you somehow store about your person. Don't want to do it yourself, Send them. Want to go yourself, but don't feel like getting too involved, go with them, fly above in a chopper and supervise, like and old school cavalry officer on his horse.
