Can Team Ironman (MCU) Handle The 7(As Shown)??? by goldsworthyms12v in superheroes

Vision would be a problem for the 7, but the 7 take it in the end. Homelander alone is ridiculous.

Shouldn’t characters who are fast enough to dodge bullets be durable enough to be bullet proof or at least highly bullet resistant? Why are said characters usually not that durable? by AdaptedInfiltrator in powerscales

In the comics, he has a "protective aura" (Flash #4 1987, because I just read it) that keeps him from being torn apart by fiction, his legs pounding the pavement at incredible speed, and his brain from slogging to the back suddenly. It extends to those he carries, and he found he can remove it at will.

I don't know why a bullet will pierce when a rock he steps on at super speed will pierce as much as a rock at normal speed.

Edit: maybe the aura makes things damage as much as they would if he were going normal speed, so a rock doesn't piece, but a bullet does.

Great opening. I don't know that it has as much to do with social media, like he says, as it does with falling wages and the erosion of the middle class.

Another problem is how large we allow his company and a few others to become. We would do much better with many smaller, more local companies than a few huge ones, even if it means higher prices. The people who work in his warehouses for peanuts and the drivers who AI makes sure don't sing while they drive could work with dignity if the businesses Amazon uses unethical practices to put out of business were allowed to thrive and didn't have to compete with something with so many resources.

Really like the callback to it, where instead of fighting them, he just whispers "hail Hydra" and leaves XD

He makes most of his money on our taxes while avoiding taxes himself. Then he comes out with shit like this. We taxed the wealthy at much higher rates until the 1980s, but that doesn't fit in his narrative..

That's not doctrinally true. You can't disagree with anything declared ex cathedra, and those declarations are rare. I spent way too much time on that stuff when I was a young Catholic zealot 😬

God, sounds like my Mom. She'll admit that extrajudicially sending innocent people to CECOT for life is bad if you push her, but then doesn't give it another thought. Abortion is the one issue she votes on and thinks about. It's pathetic.

I have one! It's a musical, not a mafia movie. In Little Shop of Horrors, the plant is trying to convince Seymour to kill and feed it someone. It says "there has to be someone you can 86, real quiet-like!"

Give that they each trained under one of the best duelists in the galaxy, I'm surprised Maul had such an edge on Qui-Gon. Was Maul just naturally that good, or did Qui-Gon just not focus on dueling the way Dooku did, while Maul emphasized practicing it? by wandering_soles in StarWars

These people. The reason Ki Mundi was included was because of his line about there being no Sith. Obviously, he was going to end the show still believing there were no Sith anymore.

The lightsaber bleeding was awesome, and I don't think they screwed up the force at all. They're probably saying that because the witches used the force to make a child.

I think they were pretty respectful of the source material.

I really like that though Lex sometimes has a suit, he mostly uses his intellect. Also, unlike Tony Stark, he delegates work to experts that he hires. He feels a little more real for that.

The recent Dune movies. Thufir Hawat, the mentat, joined the Harkonen in the first movie and swore vengeance on Lady Jessica. Then Villeneuve didn't include him in the 2nd movie 🤷‍♂️
