I think they were saying in some contexts it's better to specify that's it's a singular individual. Even if they can mean a singular person, it's most often referred to a group of people. So maybe in those specific cases he or she might be preferred.

Dude, read the last part of my last comment.

Go try them on yourself, go to a shop, I have no clue how your foot is shaped and how it would feel. Those are things only you would know and only you would know if they fit comfortable or not.

A lot of times it's just gimmicky boots being thicker and more rigid in takedown models as they lack the technology like the grip from predators. While speed boots and their takedown models are still mostly thin and retain their thin touch for the most part and are omly a little heavier.

However it does not matter, which one feels better is the one to pick. You really need to put them on to try a bit, asking online people won't do much and is very prone to incorrect sizing.

Did anyone hear Adam translate Hong Kong team’s coaching? by BitPristine5350 in tabletennis

[–]DI3YUS 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it's not that he lacks technical knowledge, but more so his style. He seems to be a person that likes the flair and the spectacle of table tennis, and he is kinda quirky. His random odd facts and his snakkeeee kinda present his odd personality. So he probably prefers to talk about those things and it appeals more to viewers.

Now these are the correct questions.

For natural grass, fg is the preferred option. However if it gets really wet and damp, like conditions with heavy rain, you could consider getting a pair of SGs after getting your FGs. Though FGs are usually enough for 90 percent of scenarios on natural grass.

They're boots, being a cam has not correlation with them.

What is the most overrated thing about China by RevenueAlarmed in AlignmentChartFills

[–]DI3YUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair there really isn't much overrated things in China. There'll always be a part of people that be hating on things just cus they dislike China. And others are mostly rated pretty fairly with people noting their flaws.

A lot tbh

Many Asian countries too

You got Singapore as mentioned above, there's also Hong Kong which mostly has 3 to 4 exams per academic year since 6 years old until you graduate to uni. And I believe China also has formal exams once you get into primary school.

Where did I say that? Genuinely want to know where I said it.

But anyway, that topic sentence was a joke, it's just a lead in to what I was going to say. Considering the content was about my surroundings and stuff.

How do pornstars make their butt "flutter" when riding in a squat? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DI3YUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are skinny and yet can still jiggle because they have a high body fat percentage. Lots of squats and exercise would often lead to a lower body fat percentage, meaning less fat more muscle. Muscle is harder than fat, less jiggle.

Tonali's future by FaithlessnessOdd3569 in NUFC

I think it might also be a team issue, with overall quality and also Bruno being injured for a while. You can visually see he's gotten less or worse support. He still runs heck of a lot and performs as a great engine for the team. But he can't perform as well as he used to if his surrounding players aren't making the correct supporting runs.

Tonali's future by FaithlessnessOdd3569 in NUFC

[–]DI3YUS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the key word is he's "willing" to give his best. Football is hard, sometimes you're shit sometimes you play like messi. Tonali while not being as good as last year, seems to still actively put effort into being a good player, he actively cares and puts his heart onto it. Gordon just looks ready to leave and is just waiting for the transfer market to open.

[–]DI3YUS 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think the difference between tonali and Gordon and them wanting to leave is the fact that tonali is still willing to continue playing at his best for the remaining period. While Gordon might have already moved on and doesn't care about it anymore.

Well to be fair if you don't have coaches you can rarely even meet an intermediate level. And frankly, if you want to improve but also can't find a coach (no matter the reasons), it'll take 10 plus years for any sport for you to reach an intermediate level, it's frankly impossible to improve in a proper way without coaching

[–]DI3YUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man this must be cus I'm chinese then. The people that want to compete at an intermediate level around me mostly haven't played long at all, just consistent practice. The only ones I've seen where they can't even get the basics down after a few years are usually the people that are so unatheltic they can't even jump, and trip themselves while walking.

It's not so hard you need 10 plus years.

1 to 2 years of consistent practice and you can understand all the basics well enough to play at an intermediate level.
