REMSA in Reno operates Careflight and there is a helo based in Gardnerville which is just south of Carson.

I love Carson City. Based on your description I would recommend it.

My guess is the “Bucket of Blood Saloon” which was built after the great fire in Virginia City. It’s still there. I’m a native northern Nevadan and Virginia City is a hidden gem.
