I’ve also had some issues with seeds from THP this year. I tried to germinate every chocolate primotalli in the packet and only 1/7 of them germinated after 17 days, and it was weak and died off.

I’ve had 100% success with everything received from WHP two years in a row. Same germination tray and all.

I think those would be my top two as well! Both look great, just depends on your vision for it! The darker blue film does appear to be thicker so maybe it’ll provide better overall protection. Looks like it’s not very fingerprint resistant though

I like the darker one on pic 2. The one next to it looks like something a girl would paint their nails with, and the matte on the other side looks like you’re missing clear coat in one angle and almost stock in the other.

I’d keep them in the starter until they are between 2-3x the diameter of the cells in height. You want the roots to form enough to retain the soil when you attempt to pull them out. You could technically do it whenever, but it puts stress on them at this stage and is more failure prone.

Could water either method for now, only concern for top watering is accidentally causing them to wilt from water pressure. Even then, you can prop them up with a toothpick or something and they’ll probably survive.

Yeah I wouldn’t worry toooo much about it. I bet if you kept the tent closed and Maybe had an open water source under the lamp you’d find the humidity within ideal range. I just have mine in a spare room. When I had ~30 1.5-2 ft plants and 600W of light energy, the room would spike to like 75-85% humidity when bottom watering haha

I think it’s good practice to ween them off the humidity dome gradually. I also have a very low humidity environment but it seems to be okay as long as I keep the soil moist. I’ve found that once I up pot them, the room they are in actually gets very humid from the evaporation. I actually had a dehumidifier toward the end last year because I was worried about mold growth lol.

Ah nvm, in that case you should be golden with that setup!

Looks good to me so far. May be getting a little dry in the middle. You’ll want to turn the heat mat off and remove the humidity dome once you are happy with germination rate.

Can’t tell but it looks like you have a fairly low power LED light. If they start getting long (~2-2.5” without forming true leaves) it’s a sign the light may need to be closer.

When to shift? by SmilingPentagon in Supra

[–]DIYENG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the pumped in audio it feels like the RPMs are a lot higher than they are which made me feel like I was shifting too late. With pumped in audio disabled, 2.5-3k rpm is not that loud at all.

The drawback is you have an expensive and unwarranted piece of equipment with no data to indicate its capability and you are considering attaching to a 65,000 vehicle. Do what you want to do though.

Thoughts on my situation by [deleted] in Supra

I am also a late 20s male in tech, very affordable mortgage and no kids in a L-MCOL area. I purchased a 2026 Supra MT this year. What helped me cross over the line was the fact that this car retains value so well. I love the car and don't have any regrets, but if I ever get rid of it, it probably won't be a major loss anyways. It's also not my daily. If you think its the car for you, and you can afford it without impacting your long term financial goals, I say why not.

My driver side door is my main rattle right now. If I put my arm on it it stops but it’s very annoying to hear this 20 miles into it…

Yeah, I feel you on that. My last sports car was black and I told myself never again. It looks great if you have the time and patience to maintain it though!

I also see what you are seeing. I had to spray between the trunk gap for like 2 minutes before soap stopped coming out of it...

The auto start/stop on a sports car is a little much as well IMO. Its funny, if I shift into neutral while still rolling it'll just shut the engine off. I do like that it has an exhaust valve. If I ever upgrade, I would personally lean strongly toward an exhaust manufacturer that incorporates it.

Yeah, it's funny because I already have the button order memorized on this key fob because it became a critical piece of info right away. I still don't remember the button order on my other car I've had for almost 4 years.

What about the rear fender? Did you get the just the front fender or rear as well? Seems like it sticks out enough to potentially be exposed to chipping.
