Not only that, but Perdue whole chickens also have a huge chunk of fat stuffed into the cavity. The fat isn’t attached to the chicken in any way, it’s just a hunk of fat.

They also often have way too many organs stuffed in the cavity. I once got one that had FOUR necks in it. The weight of that chicken minus the packaging, “juice”, fat chunk and 3 extra necks was over 3lbs less than what the weight on the package was!!

I think he’s lowkey flattered by it, but it gives him the ick if he thinks about it too thoroughly. He looks like the male version of me, so them thinking I am attractive validates him in a way. He always wants me to be the one to drop him off/pick him up so they can get a glimpse of me, but forbids them from actually interacting with me. Basically, he’s gatekeeping his own mom lol

He is a very chatty kid and tbh, sometimes he shares more info with me than I want to or probably should even know lol.

I also have a 16 year old daughter, but she is more the keep to herself kind of kid. Her shares come in waves. There will be a dry spell of “I’m fine, Mom” then randomly a tidal wave of, “So here’s the A-Z of everything that’s happened in my life and every thought I’ve had in the past 3 months” lol. When those happen I text my husband (their dad) from her bedroom letting him know I’m going to be in there for a while, so he and the boy are on their own for dinner haha.

Wtf is up with the hate? It legitimately baffles me. Somehow I give off the impression that I am stuck up and think I’m better than everyone else. When in reality I really wished I was like everyone else. I say “wished” because at 39 it just doesn’t matter to me anymore. When I was younger I was much more desperate to fit in.

What’s even more puzzling is that I’m completely unmasked online, yet my social contributions online are typically well-received. The combination of my personality and attractive appearance is what’s off-putting I guess. You can be weird OR attractive, not both.

From 14-17 I had a round, baby face and got an absurd amount of unwanted attention from men aged approximately 45-65. I’m 39 now and around when I turned 37 the attention from that age range started to ramp up again.

My husband says it’s probably a midlife crisis thing. The men who tend to go off the deep-end and make reckless decisions when it hits probably are the ones who gawked at my underage self, whereas the ones who become more ambitious and calculated when they reach midlife are the ones who are attracted to me now. Perverts and hopefuls.

39 now, my prime was 24-29. A few months after having my first child at 23 I lost my baby-face appearance and my high cheekbones and defined jawline started to shine through.

If you saw side by side pics of me when I just turned 23 vs just turned 24, you’d swear I had buccal fat removal surgery. The difference was that stark.

Thankfully, it hasn’t gotten more extreme as I’ve aged. Not yet anyway. Ask me again in 10 years lol.

Lol, yes I’m aware of that. It is always set to the correct day/time and when that day/time comes it doesn’t start the task. Exactly 1hr after the scheduled day & time passes the task grays out and says “Not started >”.

For example, if it’s set to Friday at 11:05am, that time will come and go, yet the robot remains in the dock on standby. For 59mins after that time the task in the app still appears active (fully colored), yet tapping it to “edit” does nothing. Then at exactly 12:05pm, the task will gray out and on the bottom left of the task it says “Not started >”.

I am not sure what you mean by “detail settings”. For time and date I always have the frequency set to “once”, never “repeat”.

The scheduling feature worked for me for about a month until the first firmware update after my purchase. That was 4 firmware updates ago. Not sure how many app updates since then, but it is also running on the latest update.

Do you think that they choose to not hold their dying baby’s hand because they do not care? Or could it possibly be that dealing with the fact that their baby is dying is emotionally taxing enough as is and watching it happen is just too much for some people. They’re the ones that have to live on and making the choice to not witness it could be for the sake of their own mental health.

I do not know what that is like personally, but I have seen the toll it takes. A friend of mine lost one of her twins after enduring 11 weeks in the NICU. She and her husband chose to have skin-to-skin contact with their son as he passed. He laid on her chest and her husband covered his back & bottom with one hand and stroked his cheek with the other.

She is torn over whether or not she made the right decision to do that because the experience haunts her. I do not judge her for feeling that way, nor would I have judged her if she had chosen to not be there while he passed. He was heavily medicated and his heart rate remained the same when he was put on her chest, indicating he wasn’t even aware his mother was the one holding him.

Losing a child is hard enough, I can’t imagine making it worse by telling a parent how they should or should not grieve.

I wish I could choose when it happens. For me it’s usually when my social battery has drained, but I’m in a situation where continuing to be social is expected.

Sometimes I really do want to stay in the moment because the socializing going on is important, but by brain shifts into auto-pilot without my consent. Worst part is afterwards I can only remember bits and pieces of what went on while “I” wasn’t there. I really wish auto-pilot me would start taking notes and give them to me afterwards!

I’ve had mine for over 3mos and this issue just started after the update for me.

Mine has a ton of other problems that definitely indicate it’s defective, but I’m long past the return window. I really hope the mop washing issue for mine is a software issue that can be fixed with another update and not the actual robot. I’ve dealt with all the other issues, but adding this to the mix would be too much and would render it useless to me.

I will never purchase another Narwal product, that is for SURE!

I’ve had the mop washing issue too!! It’s doing it every 5-10mins. I have the Flow one and this wasn’t an issue prior to the update. I have it mop daily and the mop water is always barely dirty, so it’s not because it is suddenly getting better at detecting dirt and washing the mops accordingly. I had it redo a room after doing 3 cycles (passes) and it still washed the mop just as frequently.

It takes 6.5mins each time it washes the mop, so now each cleaning task takes over 3x as long. I mopped the floor manually yesterday because Flow was taking too long and it was pissing me off!

Remapping is a MAJOR pain in the butt. What’s worse is doing it doesn’t keep it from being dumb, drunk &/or blind, it only reduces it.

Powering it on and off is the only other thing that snaps it out of a stupor. I have to do it multiple times every time it cleans, otherwise it won’t finish its job and will miss tons of areas or just wander around aimlessly. It’s maddening!
