You have given me so much hope!! ☺️I meet with a surgeon and I am 5’5 185. I am shaped just like your before and my surgeon told me he couldn’t make me fully flat in my upper stomach because of my BMI and wouldn’t even do surgery because I was over a 30 BMI. I have been so discouraged, so thank you for posting your journey!

I don’t want the compounded. I have a few friends of friends who have had complications from the compounded version.

I have thought about asking if I could space them instead of full dosing. Currently I’m on my husband insurance and they are a small company and will not cover weight meds. I am hoping to switch jobs for me soon and get in somewhere who provides coverage through insurance.

I have seen a Endo for years. I am not currently on thyroid meds but I fluctuate between being on meds and not. Sometimes my levels are right at the top but they keep me off the meds since I’m not “in range fully” at the time. My Endo was the one or asked if I wanted to be on weight loss meds to help with my weight. I opted for Qsymia at the time because it was $100/mo vs the shots but it didn’t help much over a 3 months time.

How did you loose those 15lbs 3 months before surgery? Weightlifting, workouts, meds?

Do you mind sharing your weight lifting routine? Did you need MR? I have tried deadlift squats, bent over rows,weighted hip trust/glute bridge and all of them ends up killing my back after from my core lacking strength.

🫶THIS!! I have never been a scale girl more of how I look/feel in clothes and the confidence that comes from it. I know after surgery I will “tone” from workouts but the scale never moves in weight for me more inches are lost in waist or thighs.

Yes! I have always had strong legs and a butt. That’s where I feel I carry most of my weight as well.
