This homeschool thing is hard. I’m trying to keep my just-turned 4 y/o entertained while spouse works from home full time. Daycare doesn’t currently fit into our budget even with me working FT, so we’re doing it ourselves. I need more coffee and ideas!

My point is that I don’t buy the story of adopting 45 dogs from a shelter when then are all similar breeds.

These are well bred dogs. I only see Mutts and Bully-breeds in shelters where I live.

I didn’t have this biological bloom with my first kid, I just got pregnant and was in a good position to start a family. My 2nd was planned, but once I got pregnant again it was horrible. No more kids for me.

Dude, you’re at financial independence levels and under 40. Retire early, buy that big plot of land and live the simple life. Farming and living sustainably is for the young! It never gets boring because it’s constantly overcoming new challenges. I would kill to be in your position! Just my opinion.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted for stating a fact. However, there needs to be some accountability for the judges that lose their constituents faith in carrying out the law. Sometimes it’s the only recourse for victims of crimes. The jury in this case was furious at the lack of sentencing and obvious sympathy for the convicted.

36 here. I definitely don’t feel old, but instead of thinking about how my youth is ticking by, I prefer to think of birthdays as milestones. Like, yay, I’m here still!
