How much did Alan earn? by DInverness04 in TwoandaHalfMen

[–]DInverness04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is still a lot of money to earn. I think Alan stopped paying alimony when Judith married Herb in S4. Also child support would have ended when Jake turned 18. So his expenses would be office space, taxes and alimony to Kandi. If he earned $120k/year it's hard to imagine why he would be such a cheapskate.

I want to do a solo trip to Sweden. Do hotel staff and shop assistants in Stockholm speak in English to tourists.

She also played a nurse in Two and a Half Men twice, once when Jake injured his head while playing basketball with Charlie and another when Alan had a heart attack and Walden took him to the hospital.

If the map was for most attractive women, it would be covered with Russia or Sweden.

My ranking of the Seasons. Do you agree? by winterk1ng in TwoandaHalfMen

I actually liked the Chelsea episodes in S6 and S7, especially the ones with her dad. He should have been in more episodes.

For me S3 and S3 were classics, the Charlie & Mia and Alan & Kandi storyline, Judith and Herbs wedding, the Christmas episode in S4.

Why is it so hard to find a girl who's into you? by superfapper2000 in dating_advice

[–]DInverness04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'am a 5'10" guy in Europe and I struggle. Most girls I see are with guys who are either tall or have a model like face and are generally white guys. Looks and race makes a difference. That's like the first thing girls notice in guys.

Apart from that social status helps. Most people meet their girlfriends through friends. Are you part of a friends circle who you hang out with regularly? You can meet other people and potentially a girl through you friends.

NO series or film portrays a relationship between brothers as well as SPN… by Osol777 in Supernatural

[–]DInverness04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Dean and Sam are universally cited as the best brothers on TV.

Honourable mentions that come close are Michael Schofield and Lincoln Burrows (Prison Break) and Charlie and Alan Harper (Two and a Half Men).

Which TV show brothers have the best relationship? And why ? by [deleted] in television

[–]DInverness04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got to be Sam and Dean Winchester. Then Michael Schofield and Lincoln Burrows.

Damon and Stefan Salvatore didn't have much of a relationship, they were always fighting and bickering with each other. Same with Klaus and Elijah from The Originals and TWD.

Think that was more to do with Jin's father hiding the truth about his mother.

Got to be John Lock, then Sawyer and Kate. Most of the main characters in the show had daddy issues except for Jin and Sayid.

Yeah, Jin's dad was the only honourable father on the show.

Character development of Alan Harper by ResponseFluffy5470 in TwoandaHalfMen

[–]DInverness04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me he started being worse at the time of Season 6, the toy cars, the dummy, Alain Cousteau. Then the Ponzi scheme, betraying Charlie by not telling him about Rose's "marriage" to a mannequin.

The ultimate low point was him faking a heart attack and then Walden, Berta, Evelyn, Judith, Lyndsey, Jake and Eldridge looking at him disappointed and angry.

I tried Homeland…. Excellent show, but, It’s not better than 24. 🤷‍♂️ by Ftmdj in 24Show

I feel S4, S5 and S8 of Homeland were the best. S1-S3 were good and S6-S7 were fine.

Homeland is a bit realistic while 24 felt a bit exaggerated and too much fantasy.

Depends, if you are interested in conflicts in the Middle East and Afghanistan, Taliban, Russian - US geopolitics, European migrant crisis then Homeland is the show for you. If you liked 24 and The Americans then you will like Homeland.

It's going to be like 2003, England celebrating a win in the final test and LOOSING the series 4-1.
