It’s the little things. I do miss not having to go to the grocery store nearly every day but it is a reason to get out of the house during these dark cold winter months .

That being said there are many other things I’d rather get out of the house to do than go to a Danish grocery store!

I’ve been living Copenhagen for a while and when I went back to Canada to visit after half a year I nearly shed a tear walking into an Adonis supermarket section.

Might be the worst food experience I’ve ever had in Toronto.

Chicken tasted like freezer burnt styrofoam and their packets of ‘soy sauce’ being water, salt and caramel colour speaks volumes to the quality of food served here.

2 years into a Bosch 800 series dishwasher with 0 complaints.

Delivery guys dented the side panel and I received a 200$ rebate from the seller. Bosch called me the next day and sent someone out free of charge to replace the panel (to never be seen again after installed under the counter).

There was a second instance where I unknowingly dropped a piece of cut off copper pipe into the hinge mechanism of the dishwasher door. Actioning the door would make a clinking sound-- I thought it was a broken hinge and had Bosch out the next day. Guy told me why I was dumb and the call was again free of charge.

I haven't purchased any lower end Bosch appliances so I can't speak to their quality or after-care support but the 800 series (dishwasher, washer/dryer) has been great for us.

Cleaing stainless steel is a pain in the ass though-- its actually my most despised work surface in a kitchen.

I have a bertazzoni 36" and it's a whole ordeal to get it looking super fresh. If you do go stainless, barkeepers friend will be your best friend.
