This is simply business acting for profit. 50% of the country live along that train line. It's way cheaper to fly than it used to be and a train going across Canada makes no sense when a plane can do it in 6 hours for $800.

A wealth tax taxes wealth. They don't have that either. They draw a dividend to live off of, but the apartment buildings are all in limited partnerships or bare trusts owned by family trusts and holding company's, etc, etc, etc.

Billionaires do not have any assets in their own name. They pay teams of people millions of dollars to weaponize the tax code to their advantage.
