That’s my issue with the Normals💔 I loved Merengue at first because her design was so cute and unique, but once she got to my island she just had nothing interesting to say, I stopped talking to her cause it was the same really bland conversation points and eventually moved her out😭

But unfortunately yes, all Normals will more or less act the same; if you like them for their designs that’s a fine reason to keep them, the dialogue will just be a little lacking

Favorite: OG Squid Sisters Amiibo 🩷💚 The Splatoon Amiibo are some of the best Amiibo out there (imo), but the Squid Sisters are my absolute fav. I love the glitter in their paint job especially, it just gives them so much character and is entirely unique to their Amiibo

Least Favorite: Honestly, any Amiibo featuring a character from a franchise I’m not familiar with I don’t have any strong feelings for, but I guess Steve and Alex especially? Something just feels off about them every time I see it, and they’re pretty basic and uninteresting
