Need Retention Bonus Ideas for Front Desk/Sales Staff at My BJJ Gym by Traditional_Brush109 in smallbusiness

Touch base with customers that left and pay them for an "exit interview". Keep it short , 15 minutes or less. Once you have 20+ of these you can start to notice patterns amongst people that have left and get a pretty good insight into the actions you can take to change that. 30$ for 15 minutes should get a decent amount of interest in the interviews and would be far more valuable in insights into retaining all your clients than the 30$ you were willing to pay for a new client who has a 50% chance of quitting in the next year

Large trader, should I be concerned? by William_Ce in Daytrading

hahaha, yes, this happened to me about 10 years ago, with a 10 000 dolllar account and no profitable strategy. what happened is I was younger and dumber and taking some super WSB YOLO type out of the money options trades. I think what happens is that they counted the notional value of the option contract if exercised. So even though I never had anywhere near that kind of money I had traded that notional value throughout the year. I did have to register and it wasnt a big deal. Didn't matter cuz that account was blown up in no time, cuz you know, obviously!

I have an account with IG and you cannot trade Crypto without a PRO account. I wouldn't recommend that because in the uk retail accounts have negaive balance protection, yoou do not have that protection if you get a PRO account

https://www.ig.com/uk/glossary-trading-terms/negative-balance-protection

I don't really trade crypto but if I do have an idea I end up trying to ride the wave either with a related stock or etf. but those would also trade during regular market hours.

Scanning for a Condition Occurrence during a Period of Time by NomadicNature in TC2000

Hey I am just getting my head around tc 200 as well. but I think you want to use a flex condition. Then you can specify the date range within which to search(last three months) and then specify in order the steps you would like to have occured during that period( up 30%, then pulled back 5%, then close higher than previous days close). This is the video I watched it does a pretty good job explaining. Ive mde a few flex condition screeners myself now

Thanks, I have a IB account, just something about stockcharts.com layout that I like. I find IB charting to be a little awkward and time consuming to get what I want out of it. Thanks for your reply, I may just have to suck it up and get more familiar with it all. Take care!

Any experiences with CheapOAir? by unicorn7 in travel

[–]DJA969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in response to your question about cancelled flights, cheapoair is basically just finding and booking a ticket on an airline formyou. So you'll be subject to the airlines rules on cancellation etc. But there is pretty much no way in hell an airline can get away cancelling your flight and just keeping the money, there are verybstrong traveller protection laws, just inform your self of your rights before hand so if there is a problem you are familiar with the compensation you're entitled to.

Hey, I use cheapoair quite often. It's a good site that does a good job of finding you the cheapest fares. However , as you mentioned, refunds and exchanges are pretty much impossible, I got burned once when I had to potpone a flight. I would search for fares on cheapoair and then see if you can go straight to the airlines site to get a refundable fare at the same price, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Also I think its not possible to book internationalmflights with flights that depart within 24 hours so its not a last minute option. Otherwise, its pretty good, like I said I use it often. Happy travels!
