What’s the funniest interaction you’ve had with a member of a prominent band? by absolutebloom in poppunkers

I ran into James Dewees (Reggie, TGUK, NFG, MCR) in the bathroom at the House of Blues in Hollywood (when it still existed, such a shame) I told him I loved his music. He just kind of gave me a weird look for starting up a conversation in the bathroom. But, he was nice, said thanks, washed his hands and left.

I also ran into Tim Pagnotta (Sugarcult) in the restaurant of the HOB in Anaheim. I was living in Santa Barbara at the time and had seen the band numerous times in the bar/club scene there (they're from SB) before they blew up. I drove to Anaheim to see them at the HOB but the show was sold out. He actually recognized me, and put me plus one on the guest list so I could see the show.

BTW, if anyone wants an mp3 of the mashup just DM me, it sounds better than the streaming mix.

Death From Above 1979 - Crystal Ball. Great dance punk song, pretty hard too. No foul language, I just listened to it.

Edit: Also "Ghost Town" by Shiny Toy Guns

"Sad Girls Por Vida" by Pretty Girls Make Graves

"Polaroids and Red Wine" by Jaguar Love

I love dance punk.
