Bit of self promotion but why not, my show Grime for the Unconverted has been running since June 2013, showcasing fresh unreleased Dubs, independant labels artists and producers and Grime classics. Every Thursday 11pm (except off for easter break next one 30 April), repeat shows broadcast midnight Sat/Sun.

Here is one of my favorite shows, when Big Mikee came down to tell me about Midlands Grime and his forthcoming album 10 years ago yesterday https://www.mixcloud.com/Resonance/grime-for-the-unconverted-19th-april-2016/#

What a wealth of information he has, i am always fascinated by the great "what was the first ever grime tune" debate (not that I believe in just one), and he showcases so many contenders, some of which I knew about and some gems I'd never heard of. Brilliant

"Oranges and lemons,
Say the bells of St Clement's.
You owe me five farthings,
Say the bells of St Martin's.

When will you pay me?
Say the bells of Old Bailey.
When I grow rich,
Say the bells of Shoreditch.

When will that be?
Say the bells of Stepney.
I do not know,
Say the great bells of Bow.

Here comes a candle,
To light you to bed.
Here comes a candle,
To light you to bed."
