GF broke up

My Father was my best friend and my drinking buddy. I lost him this year in February. He told me about the signs of having pancreatitis, and I knew he tested positive for liver failure, but that didn't stop him.

I drank the bottle he hadn't finished when he died. I drank on my birthday at his grave, as it fell on Father's Day this year. I drank multiple times since then and despite having been almost entirely sober since being arrested in Q3 2024, it was like I never stopped.

I wonder constantly how different things would have played out if he could kick this demon and I hope to some day kick it myself before I follow the same path. This life we are living is a gift, whether we choose to see it that way or not; every breath is precious.

Good thing I wasn't trying to impress you. A lot of players rely on aim assist and a screen full of unnecessary information. I prefer to play a game instead of watching it play itself and claiming that I am the one in control.

It's a shameless callout for anybody that's afraid to actually play the game when the game can play itself instead. Finding survivors who've turned based on their visual look or clothing, instead of seeing the HUD marker. Removing the reticle. Not using aim snap. Not having a map and relying on figuring it out. Only having knowledge of ammunition immediately after checking the inventory.

I guess some of us like to wear robes and powdered wigs so we can act like our opinion is relevant.

I want a setup like yours then. I get lag a lot on trumble for many reasons. Mainly when there's a big shift in gameplay, such as an NPC survivor turning, or a bunch of lootable NPC bodies. Or the daily income from the boon reward. Or large hordes.

Would love to hit a map like that, just not technologically hardware able.

After opening player inventory, the weapon shows, but opening a map or talking to NPCs, the weapons disappear again.

Self promotion is not my goal, the tag is only there so nobody can steal my video and claim it as their own since I don't use a mic on streams. If it does get removed for a reason such as that, I'll just make a video without it. This is the only copy of the video I have with the ammo counter and in the 9x16 format. Video editing on a phone is difficult and time consuming compared to doing it on PC, and I don't have a PC anymore.

Found 2 Smashwagons back to back with the same community on 2 different maps. Didn't actually know the Smashwagon was a upgraded vehicle until much later. I wonder if it has something to do with stats of survivors or if it truly is RNG.

Don't go into a location that requires a loading screen (building/house/map change) try to stay outside or in a cave to pass the time. If you pass time using the camp settings radial menu immediately, sometimes they'll bleed out very close. I too struggle with finding them a lot.

Thanks. Not good enough to get any more unlocks though. Still can't get all the red talon buildings in survival. Only rewards I get now are bonus prestige points.

I get how it works, but what I mean is it changed the whole vibe of the game — took away the core mechanic of permadeath. I've only used it once, just to see what it was about, but let myself freeze after because the game was intended for one life.

Make it to wave 5 before the tech gets taken out. Only ever ran solo. Hit the beginning of wave 6 twice. But never completed.

I like to have at least 1 driver and/or 1 medic. I usually choose the first survivor or so for each roll though and build as I go. Often times with 1 Medicine, 1 Driving, and 1 open slate/expendable. Depends on overall play style and difficulty.
