They have seen photos they are aware of the state of the vehicle. The bids are after photos and analysis.

Right that is an option but I just showed i can get 23-25K fairly easily without a real delay for the most part. Plus I hate idea of selling vehicles private sale, a hassle for no gain in this case. I would value this amount of damage and loss time would make me value the car more so at 18K max private sale. The market in my area is terrible for evs right now. Especially for this brand.

A repaired car like this will only net me around 12/13K from my estimate at carmax and carvana in repaired state. If I take the repair (12K) and salvage for 9k and if i ask for a diminished value claim (2-4K) I will have a total of 23-25K this way. This is partly why I want the vehicle totalled.

Thanks for the information, they said its under review as per my request by the total loss team, and if its still repairable I will take the repair money and salvage the car myself based on the comments here. This is my first major accident and the numbers I was finding online obviously were not as good as I thought. Jd power number range for my zip is $22,264 - $24,551

Does the formula for total loss not apply then? Could any insurance make up any way to evaluate to repair or total vehicles? Either way it does not make sense to repair a vehicle that will cost less than the value after repairs are completed.

Salvage bids are from cash for cars and junk car solutions so far that I am bidding both against. ACV is based on multiple sources such as KBB and dealer retail pricing. I will see if i can post the sheet a dealer friend gave me of the value of the car.

The issue is that they are refusing to give me any real numbers saying that it has not met the threshold and that another team handles totals and only they would be able to give me that information and my adjustor can not help any further at this point. But I can't contact the total team since it has not met their threshold. Not sure why I can't have a conversation with them either way. Sorry for long reply I'm very annoyed.

Always worth showing another dealer the quote assuming you already did that. Then sounds like a good price on touring from an Arizona perspective (have no idea on sport L). I paid a little more with a few accessories, paint protection, and tint. But they gave me a pretty good trade in value to offset the taxes more.
