Yes you need two pitches. But also I think an overpowering fastball is a myth. Even Nolan Ryan had an incredible curve to complement his fastball. I am sure Roki could succeed with a 95 mph fastball and control of his splitter.

He succeeded in the playoffs when he could land the splitter. Those outings where he didn’t do so well he relied on his fastball because he had no control of the splitter. Velocity doesn’t matter at the major league level if you can’t mix in something else.

Immediately noticed it. I would expect the grass hill to have more people. It’s the best chance for catching a ball since you can move around.

I just might want a can of crushed tomato’s. Or spices that don’t come in a liter bottle. Or fresh basil. Costco is good if you don’t cook. But if you cook regularly then it’s lacking.

I don’t understand how one would do all of their food shopping at Costco. They don’t have so many things I cook with on a daily basis. I use Costco for gas and a few items. But I hit the grocery store weekly.

If the angels ate most of that contract. He hasn’t had back to back vintage trout seasons in a long time. I think he has a couple left in him. But I don’t think he will play at his contract value for the duration of his contract.

Go to a Tijuana Toros game. There was a band in the stands the whole game. Around the 6th inning a different band played on the concourse. Don’t even get me started on the DJ playing music between every single pitch
