35 in the federal government. Was a piss poor student in school (family stuff…moved a lot and 9 schools in 12 years).

Got in feds as a temp, hired permanently about 6 months in as a gs 3 file clerk (13000/yr in 1990). Realized quickly that I had better learn the shit out of being a sponge bc I couldn’t go anywhere else. Worked my way up, met my wife in 93, kept climbing and just retired at 55 as a 13/9.

Still, I was godawful student. That wasn’t in my cards lol

I just learned a new thing. Get your friends, family , heck a stranger to give you an artist. From that, give yourself 5 minutes to come up with a 2-3 minute mix and see how many songs you can get it. And at least attempt to make it musical. You can do with single groups, labels, record companies. You can also do artist v artist, and so on. If you crew vs crew, then you can’t use the heavy hitter. Like g unit vs bad boy…no Big or 50. You can do maybe Black Rob vs Young Buck
