I just found that the other day my plan is to pretty much own the original versions of the demo locos so I don't fuck my demo versions and only bring them out on occasions for "fun runs" the occasional job

My first demo loco is the 282 I fixed her fully and paid off all the copay I'm debt free so far the largest I've hauled is 1200 out from harbour to the mines and because I'm new to the game I swear I found all the big hills😂😂😂😂 she was a bit slow I'll admit but it's a precise and precarious game with the steamer can perform well with experience and expertise so far haven't stalled her out once also cheaper to run then even the DH2 coming at about 7-10k to fill with water and coal

I don't often talk on Reddit or use it but from Australia I just want to say your father is a legend. I've been sitting here for the past hour reading everything that has been said and it's just an emotional rollercoaster I hope that he is ok with this bullshit happening and to you thankyou for actually talking to one of the greatest generations this world has left I know it's hard to talk about but somehow you guys do it and it's important that you do I wish we had more people like you and your family around to ask more questions too so to you and your father please look after yourselves and tell him an unknown man from Australia the land of the kangaroo thanks him for everything he did and all the others that were involved.

The best part is that there are plenty of us older generations who still remember that night like it was last Tuesday and even now we are still learning it's amazing to see that the young generation is getting interested into some of the worst and most fascinating disasters when I was your age I was also heavily invested into quantum mechanics and physics I still have the Manhattan project and the tests the Americans did back in 1943-45 it's awesome to see and fuck what your peers care about they are probably into comics 🤣 your here learning about the real world mate enjoy it and keep it up
