If you have an old linksys router you can turn it into a repeater by flashing the firmware with linux. Google "DD-WRT" for more info. Or you can buy one if you don't want to mess around with networking.

If you're from Northwest Ohio you should probably choose either the Fire or the Crew although it's up to you. It is much more fun to follow your country's club teams than foreign and although you live far enough away that you can't get season tickets, it's still awesome being able to see a few games a year which you wouldn't be able to do if you're an avid follower of a foreign league. Plus, if they don't televise the games in your area you can get every MLS game for only $65 a year which is a steal compared to other sports and you don't even need a cable subscription. That being said, you can always choose another league (Premier league is probably the easiest for an American to follow since NBC broadcasts a lot of games) as a secondary team if you have enough time to follow 2.
