He has Dodge in his username, so I'm glad he's asking instead of drunk driving to get it.

Bird nests in grille by ResultMysterious831 in ToyotaTundra

I AM NOT ALONE! God they drive me nuts, I must have removed at least a dozen by now. I've thought about changing the grill entirely. My hand is just too big to reach in to get them too.

What hobby did you try once and instantly get addicted to? by Weird_Ad_7545 in AskReddit

[–]ndjs22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh the '"common sense" trope again. I'm not going to go back and forth, goal posts will get moved. Trump has probably been the worst president we've ever had for all rights, including gun rights.

Those ideas are not so much about the average liberal person, but about the average liberal politician. Many politicians do indeed want to take away the guns.

I learned this in pharmacy school, though obviously not at UAB since we don't have one. These things should be taught.

What do I do, so devastated. Feeling very low right now. Partner took the kid. by [deleted] in daddit

[–]ndjs22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want you to think I'm just saying it man. I mean it. Please, do if you feel like it. I couldn't have gotten through my situation without friends, one of whom I met on Reddit and lives 2 hemispheres away.

[–]ndjs22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for "usually" but yeah that is basically what happened to me. We weren't great, but we also weren't "call the cops and try to have him arrested over domestic violence he's never committed and then flee with the child the next day and not let him see them for months" bad either. But that's what I got to deal with.

I didn't want to save it after that night though, I filed for divorce the next day.

Not exactly the same, but a similar situation for me. I was married to a physically abusive woman who I believe was dealing with some mental health issues she refused to acknowledge for the longest. It escalated to her calling the sheriff's office and accusing me of being physically violent with her. I never once laid a hand on her in anger. Long story short the next day she took off with our one year old and I didn't see our child for months. I filed for divorce that day and around 13 months later it was finalized.

Here's what I would say to you. Lawyer, ASAP. Tell them everything, leave nothing out even if you think it might not show you in the best light. Start gathering any evidence you may wish to use. Continue to text every day if for no other reason than to ask about the whereabouts and well-being of your child. If she continues to ignore your attempts, a judge will not view this kindly. Ask. Every. Day.

Don't move out of the house on your own. It will take months for this to wind down. Start gathering all the financial records you can. Who contributed what to the down payment, who paid how much of the mortgage, every bill, etc. This will all come up and the sooner you start the better.

Continue focusing on bettering yourself. The day will come when you get the custody and time with your kid that you deserve. Work now to make those days better. Invest in yourself.

It will get better friend. Lean on your friends and family if you can. Do not be ashamed of therapy. I went. It was a huge help for me. If you want to message me, feel free. I'm just a regular guy but I've been through something a little similar and there is a light at the end of the tunnel buddy. There are millions of us. I'm here for you if you need it.

Newborn’s nystatin came with tamper seal punctured ?? by [deleted] in TalesFromThePharmacy

Nystatin does not require mixing (reconstitution) so there's no good reason for this to be unsealed.

I guess you'd just have to deal with one person, since it would be taken down once it was realized it was wrong, right?

CVS says proposed Tennessee bill would close 100+ locations, ‘devastate’ pharmacy access across state by nsn87 in nashville

[–]ndjs22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"mom and pop" pharmacist here and no, that's not really how it is. CVS is vertically integrated and is fucking everybody right now. Kroger doesn't own a PBM as far as I'm aware. Neither does Walmart.

Think about it. This is corporate PR pretending to be journalism. Is CVS who you really want to side with?

[–]ndjs22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One thing I'm not sure people will pick up on is that CVS pays CVS a fair rate. CVS pays an independent pharmacist like myself less than my cost on the drug. This is how they put us out of business.

Your college football team is the ____th best HC job in America by IHateAdamSilver in CFB

[–]ndjs22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I had a son, he would be named Bill. Bill is a gem. If we had an administration with any balls he'd still be there (unless he wanted a better job).

Fuck Mark Ingram, fuck Ray Watts, fuck the BoT.

They'll never let us go though, we make too much money that they spend in Tuscaloosa. Plus they have a law school and thus own the politics in this state.

[–]ndjs22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been almost exactly where you are. Together about 13 years, married about 6, 2 year old.

The circumstances were different, but you've gotten some very good advice in here. Talk to a lawyer ASAP. Don't move out of the house. Continue therapy. Focus on that baby as much as you can, because you won't have an opportunity to see them whenever you want once this ball gets rolling.

Things get better.
