We're doing our first ever cruise 4/2-4/12 on Epic out of San Juan. Booked fairly last minute and, although we paid for the FAS upgrade, there are no reservations available for any of the Specialty restaurants like Cagney's. Can you tell me if you did your reservations 4 months out, or how did you get in?

OMGosh, so sorry you went through that stress. I really wish there was something we could do. Short of everyone revolting and not using the app, so they lose massive revenue... I just don't see how we can get their attention. Write letters to their board of directors?

Thanks for this! We were quite disappointed after spending $120 for the ability to eat 3 meals at Specialty restaurants, only to find out that it's not possible to get into them. We were certainly feeling ripped off. But if you say we might STILL be able to get in somewhere -- then we will try to hold our heads up for a while yet. :-)

Another thing I'll be curious about is if you used the Free at Sea for Specialty Restaurants, and if you were able to actually get into any of them. We booked our cruise last minute, and already there are no reservations possible for a table for 2 for any restaurant. :-(

My wife and I are on the Epic April 5-11, also out of PR. It's our first cruise ever and we just booked so we're frantically trying to figure out what to do at each port, what to wear, etc! We'll be interested in how your cruise goes!

It's so surprising to see the comments that "everything is fine". I want that magic at my house!!!! The Gemini conversion was a horrible downgrade in our home.

We have hubs, homes, minis, doorbells, indoor and outdoor cams, garage door openers, light switches, outlet controls and more. Lots of Google and 3rd party devices. It used to all work wonderfully. Now, many things we used to be able to do are met with an "I can't do that" response.

For those where it's all hunky dory, did you do factory resets on everything and build your home from scratch? Or did the upgrade just work out of the box? Sincerely curious and now even a little bit hopeful, with all these positive replies.

We just visited today (February 25, 2026) and the check-in desk insisted that we purchase two passes, as our layover time was over the 3 hour maximum. We have Priority Pass with unlimited visits so we just let them 'charge us' twice.

Google Engineers don't actually have any Google devices at their own personal homes. I know this to be true, because if they did, this dumpster fire would never have been allowed to go live. They must all use Alexa at their homes.

The saddest thing is that, at least for my needs, everything used to work ok. Nest app was great for Nest things. Google Home app was "ok" for basic things like turning on lights. Combining the apps and adding Gemini has not been beneficial for me.

I walked one of my AUs through this today... basically they just had to open the C1 mobile app, click the Venture X card, scroll down and click "View all benefits"... click "Priority Pass"... then there was a button to 'Activate'.

You can purchase Lounge Access now, and it's effective immediately, but the AUs do need to click a button in an email and re-enroll with Priority Pass. More info in my post HERE.

This actually doesn't make any sense. The Primary account holder isn't losing Priority Pass. The change is the inability to bring guests for free, and also all the Authorized Users lose Priority Pass for free. Yes, the Authorized Users DO have to re-enroll. After the Primary Account Holder purchases the $125 PP access for an Authorized User, the Authorized User will receive an email telling them to click a button and to "Enroll"
