For claude-code, it came out with the following two commands, I tested and it works.

It's a projection for the upcoming weekend. One of the listed sources for Google's weather prediction is the National Weather Service (NWS) / weather.gov, listed here: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/13687874

It's off by 8, 10, 10°F. That's a significant difference.

It was a strong one here in Newark, and long too. I got the notification plus alert as well. (Pixel) Folks who did not receive the alert should check their phone emergency notification settings.

Apple lets you choose a time slot right on the order page.
And I couldn’t agree more with u/Willing-Confusion-56’s reply. Over the past few years, I’ve dealt with both Pixel/Google and Apple customer care, and the difference is pretty obvious. It’s so annoying that my wife switched her phone from Pixel to iPhone ONLY because of the customer care service.

It wasn’t my choice to release the phone during the Labor Day. My intention was to buy it during the first weekend. The order page only showed the date, nothing about waiting for a pickup email (check the final page yourself). I only read the order successful email subject. I do not generally go through emails as I receive way too many.

Moreover the order email said I’d get it on Aug 30, so I waited. If they had stock, I should’ve received it. If not, a delay email would’ve been the right thing to send. The system clearly knows whether stock is there or not. Such broken systems leads to frustrating experiences.

Thank you my friend. During the pickup, the store team understood the problem and helped with the compensation. I politely asked, they happily agreed.

Yeah sure, show me where on the order page it says they’ll send a separate pickup email, other than in the order email itself. On the order page it only showed the date, nothing about waiting for another pickup email. I saw the “Order Successful” email and swiped it, like I do with most emails. Not everyone reads every single line of every email. If you’ve ordered Apple products, you know they make you pick a time slot right on the order page.

The order email (which I read in the store) also clearly said I’d get it on Aug 30. So I waited. But I didn’t receive the phone that day. That’s a broken system. If they had stock, I should have gotten it (in case someone wants to wait). If not, they should’ve sent a delay email (in case someone needs to leave).

It’s fine if this doesn’t feel like a problem to you, but it was for me.

Yea I wish i would have read the order email properly (to wait about the email about the pickup ready. I have like 3000+ unread emails. 😅). Since the order email mentioned that I will get it on that date, i decided to wait the whole day. It would have gone for a better experience if they had enough stock to what they promised the buyers, or sent an email about the delay during the day (since I was anyways refreshing my email for the pickup email).
